- Scan count: Number of ingredient scans performed (for usage limits)
- Subscription status: To manage premium features
User-Generated Content
- Saved products: Product names and ingredient lists you choose to save
Camera Access
- We access your camera to scan ingredient labels
- Important: Images are processed in real-time and are NOT stored on our servers
How We Use Your Information
- Authentication: To verify your identity and manage your account
- Service delivery: To analyze ingredients and provide disruption risk information
- Usage management: To track scan usage for free/premium tier limits
- Product saving: To allow you to save and retrieve product information
- Security and abuse prevention: To detect and block fraudulent or abusive use of the app, including attempts to bypass scan limits. This includes the use of IP addresses logged by our infrastructure provider.

- Google Cloud AI (Gemini): For ingredient text recognition
- Supabase: For secure data storage (Supabase Privacy Policy)
- Google Play Billing: For subscription management

- Your data is stored securely using Supabase with encryption
- Images captured for scanning are processed locally and NOT transmitted or stored
- We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information
- All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
Data Retention
- Account data: Retained while your account is active
- Saved products: Retained until you delete them or request account deletion
- Usage data: Reset periodically based on subscription cycle
